How we use your data

We require this information in order to carry out our licensing duties under the Wireless Telegraphy Act 2006.

Please see Ofcom's General Privacy Statement for further information about Ofcom handles your personal information and your corresponding right:

Cookies are text files, which identify a user's computer to our server. Cookies do not identify the individual user, just the computer used.

The Business Radio licensing system uses cookies for session management. This means that our servers ask your computer to save a special session ID code when you start an application, which your computer will send back everytime you click a link or submit a form to our servers. This confirms to our servers that your computer is allowed to follow links to your application; without this cookie, you would have to enter your entire application on one page.
